Intense Pulse Light IPL
Candela's Nordlys™ Ellipse IPL is a treatment that delivers light energy to treat a wide range of hyperpigmentation, freckles, sun damage, rosacea, and blood vessels. IPL may also improve skin tone, texture, and firmness.
The Ellipse IPL treatment makes your skin look clear and bright by delivering short bursts of light that directly target the blood vessels or melanin within your skin. It delivers clinically proven results in the treatment of skin rejuvenation.* In fact, in one study, 83% of patients had a greater than 50% improvement in cleared vessels.

Frax 1550 Laser
Reclaim your skin's youthful look, texture and tone. We use the Nordlys™ non-ablative, fractional lasers for both shallow and deeper skin resurfacing treatments. This technology allows us to resurface skin by smoothing irregularities, rejuvenate sun-damaged skin and improve skin texture.
Generally, the treatment course is 3 visits that take 15-45 minutes each depending n the size of the treatment area.

Light & Bright Laser
Using the state-of-the-art Nordlys™ technology, the Light & Bright™ treatment removes dark spots, reduce redness, and improve textural irregularities via skin resurfacing.
The Light & Bright treatment offered by the Nordlys system combines two advanced technologies found on the Nordlys system. Light & Bright treatment uses both an intense pulsed light (IPL) technology called SWT® IPL and a Frax 1550™ laser on the face and chest areas to rejuvenate* your skin. The treatment does not break the skin, so the downtime is minimal.

*Skin rejuvenation is defined as the treatment of benign pigmented lesions (pigmentation/dark spots) and vascular lesions (vascularity).
Acne Treatments
The Nordlys™ system gently treats acne by reducing the blood supply to the sebaceous gland to slow down the production of sebum. The system delivers short, bursts of Ellipse IPL™ directed at the skin. Using patented Dual Mode Filtering technology, the system filters the light to ensure that only the wavelengths necessary for the treatment are used. Because of this, only the blood vessels that supply the sebaceous gland are impacted, while the surrounding vessels are not affected.
Treatment is described as fairly painless. A typical course of therapy includes 4 treatments, with 3 weeks between each visit.

Permanent Hair
Reduction
The Ellipse IPL treatment can help with permanent hair reduction. The technology targets unwanted hair follicles with short bursts of light. Treatments are quick — from just a few minutes for the upper lip to about 30 minutes for the back or both legs. And the results are clinically proven.
This Ellipse IPL treatment can remove excessive hair from areas including Upper Lip, Chin, Legs, Bikini Area, Underarms, Back & Shoulders.

Vascular Lesions
Many people are affected by vascular lesions. These lesions can present themselves as Spider Veins, Port Wine Stains, Hemangiomas, and Venous Lakes. Not only do these conditions affect a person’s appearance, but they may also affect a person’s self-confidence.
These lesions can be treated with the Nordlys™ Hybrid System. In clinical studies, 80% of patients had a greater than 50% reduction in the number of vessels and 78% of patients with rosacea reported being very satisfied.
